New members are always welcome!

No research experience needed. All we ask is that you: live locally; have experience of using maternity services; and are willing to share your views and opinions.

We'll send you regular updates on the Network including a quarterly newsletter and details of our meetings. You can leave the list at any time.

Come to a meeting

Coming to a meeting is probably the best way to learn more about the Network and the work we do. New members are always welcome. Days and times vary to suit as many people as possible.The next meeting date is on our homepage or you can email us for details.

 Join a research project

Network members are invited to join specific research projects and to be involved for the lifetime of the project. We let members know about these opportunities through the mailing list and at meetings. Find out more about our research.

Can I bring my baby/child to the meetings?
Yes, absolutely! Babies and children are welcome at all our meetings
 

 

Do you cover expenses?
We reimburse reasonable travel costs. We can also reimburse additional childcare costs incurred by attending a meeting. We always provide refreshments.
 
I am a health care professional. Can I join the Network?
The Network is primarily for members of the public who have experience of using maternity services. You may, of course, be both a health care professional and a service-user. Contact us to discuss whether the Network is right for you.
 
I am a maternal health researcher. Can I join the Network?
The Network is a group for members of the public with lived experience of using maternity services. If you are a researcher by profession, you can find out more about the Maternal Health and Wellbeing Research Group at the University of Nottingham online or follow the group on Twitter to find out more.
